GCMS-QP2020 NX features a large-capacity differential exhaust turbomolecular pump and a high performance flow controller ensuring the utmost in sensitivity. A thoroughly reengineered Ion Source where the filament and ion source box are separated coupled with the introduction of a shield that achieves uniform temperature,provide high-sensitivity and long term stability. New Flow Controller (AFC) with a CPU uses various methods to control carrier gas flow to a constant flow speed, flowrate or pressure. Patented Advanced Scanning Speed Protocol (ASSPTM) technology incorporated in GCMS-QP2020 NX allows high-speed scanning at 10,000 u/second without sensitivity loss or spectral distortion. The precision-designed quadrupole mass filter is able to obtain accurate mass assignments across the entire mass rangeand is equipped with a pre-filter to reduce the influence of contamination on the main filter. Using the ClickTekTM lever, users can simply open or close the injection port for replacing inserts, enabling easy maintenance.
High-sensitivity, high-accuracy analysis is enabled in comparison to the group measurement method. In a batch analysis of 434 components, favorable repeatability and calibration curves were obtained, even down to the trace-quantity region, improving quantitative performance.
