Shim-pack GIST series columns are packed with newly developed high-purity porous spherical silica. Superior inertness not only improves analytical precision, but also increases column durability. Shim-pack GIST series is capable of tolerating a wider pH (1-10) situation, making it suitable for analysis of many different compounds.C18, C8, Phenyl and NH2 columns are offered to cover an extended range of selectivity and meet diverse research and development needs.Furthermore, Shim-pack GIST series is designed with various particle size ranges, which make it easy to transfer your analysis from ultra-high-speed to conventional methods. The extremely unique phase characteristics of Shim-pack GIST Phenyl are critical to resolving compounds that cannot be separated using C18 or C8 columns. In addition to ϖ-ϖ interactions, Shim-pack GIST Phenyl provides hydrogen bonding secondary interactions, which results in retaining polar compounds at the same time. As the phenyl groups are directly bonded to the silica gel, Shim-pack GIST Phenyl is also capable of analysis of structural isomers due to its high stereo-selectivity.

Shim-pack GIST NH2 columns are highly suited for of analysis of Vitamin E or simultaneous of sugars that are hard to separate in reversed phase modes. Shim-pack GIST NH2 can analyze sugars with no separation of anomers, even under low temperature conditions. The columns deliver high reliability and stability for both qualitative and quantitative analyses.

The optimization of surface area, pore size and chemical bonding delivers superior peak shapes, making these columns ideal for LC/MS/MS analysis.Shim-pack GISS series also includes the 1.9μm and 3μm HP series for UHPLC analyses.

Shim-pack GIS series columns are packed with high purity silica gel and are your ideal generic HPLC columns. Highly uniform particles ensure stable mobile phase delivery and outstanding low pressure. The Shim-pack GIS series not only reduces your cost of solvents, but relieves your system load as well. A uniform silica surface and stable chemical modification ensure high analysis reproducibility.

Shim-pack GIS CN is capable of either normal phase or reversed phase analysis. Cyanopropyl groups bonded to silica gel with high density increases the difference recognition of hydrophilicity and the durability. Due to no end-capping, it is capable of analysis utilizing cyano group characteristics. In reversed phase mode, separation can be achieved for those compounds that could not be separated on straight-chain-alkyl columns, such as C18 or C8 bonded phases.
